Kurt's Family

Kurt lives with his wife, Debbie, and their two children in Williamson Run, which is near Keystone and 106th Street. They moved to Carmel in 2001 for the great schools, shopping, and neighborhoods.

Debbie works full time at Barnes & Thornburg, the largest law firm in the state, as their Manager of Recruiting and Diversity.  As such, she coordinates all of the firm's associate hiring in their 12 offices around the United States.  She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and has a Master's Degree in Higher Education from Indiana University.

She was born and raised in Virginia, but now considers herself a Hoosier!  She loves the Colts; living in Carmel; and enjoys playing tennis in her limited free time.  Recently, her parents relocated to Indiana from Virginia so that they could spend more time with their grandchildren. Jerry and Judy Levine live in Del Webb in Fishers.  Debbie's brother, Phil, followed his parents to Indiana. He is the Athletic Director for Lebanon High School and getting married in July.

Kurt's father passed away a few years ago. He was a career federal employee and worked in several different states. Kurt's mother is on the verge of retiring, but is currently working as a medical assistant for IU Health.  Kurt's brother, Eric, works for Kurt with his technology business. Kurt's sister, Sabrina, lives in Plainfield with her family: Mike, Rachel, and Dillon. Sabrina is an active volunteer for the Girl Scouts and is responsible for coordinating all cookie sales in Central Indiana.

Summer, Kurt and Debbie's oldest child, is a 5th grader at Forest Dale Elementary.  She is an active child and has many interests. She particularly enjoys acting, art, running, and karate.  She has already had several speaking engagements at places like the Indiana Roof Ballroom and the City Market. This spring, she is playing the role of small Alice in the play Alice and Wonderland at Forest Dale Elementary.  She participates in the school's Pup Running program and often runs 5ks with her father.  In February of this year, she became a 1st degree brown belt at Adamson's Karate.  She is also a Girl Scout.  Next year, Summer will be off to Clay Middle School. She is excited and her parents can't believe how fast she is growing up.

Bradley, Kurt and Debbie's second and youngest child, is a 2nd grader at Forest Dale Elementary. He is also an active child with many interests. He just concluded his second season with the Carmel Dad's Club basketball program. Like most boys, he enjoys playing video games and pestering his older sister. Bradley also became a 1st degree brown belt at Adamson's Karate in February.

Nala, the family dog, is a German Shepherd that is full of energy. She enjoys running around in the back yard and chasing the family cat.  Shark, the family cat, is the best cat in the world. He loves company and sitting on people’s laps. His only issue is the dog. Shark tolerates the dog but the constant chasing gets tiring.
